Cheryl Ervin, O.D.

Adult Primary Care
Dr. Cheryl Ervin sees patients in the Adult Primary Care Service in The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry. Her Clinical interests include detection and treatment of eye disease in the adult population. Additionally, she enjoys practicing and educating patients in the realm of preventative medicine.
Dr. Ervin dually serves as Director of the Externship and Residency programs for the College. An Assistant Professor at SCO, she teaches the Physical Diagnosis laboratory which integrates eye health management and systemic disease states.
In addition to her career with Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Ervin is a Major in the United States Army Reserve. In this capacity she is privileged to provide eye exams to Memphis area veterans and active duty soldiers in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Dr. Ervin is married with one daughter and enjoys numerous physical fitness activities, leisure reading and being involved in her profession and community.
