Christina Newman, O.D.
Cornea and Contact Lens
Dr. Christina Newman graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 2003. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2007 from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with Honors. Following graduation, Dr. Newman practiced at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. After three years of practice, she entered and completed a Residency in Cornea, Contact Lens & Refractive Surgery at Southern College of Optometry in 2011. Upon completion of her residency Dr. Newman joined the faculty at Southern College of Optometry. She currently is a clinical instructor in The Eye Center in the Cornea and Contact Lens Service.
