Laurel Kelley, O.D.

Adult Primary Care, Cornea and Contact Lens

Dr. Laurel Kelley earned her Bachelor of Science from Auburn University and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry. After graduation, she completed a one-year postgraduate residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at the Illinois College of Optometry.

As a native Memphian, Dr. Kelley returned to SCO after residency and currently serves as an assistant professor, supervising student clinicians in the Adult Primary Care and Contact Lens departments at The Eye Center and TearWell Dry Eye Center at the Focal Point satellite clinic. She also serves as the Instructor of Record for Theory & Methods II Laboratory for first year students. Her professional areas of interest include anterior segment disease, ocular surface disease, specialty contact lenses, and research. Dr. Kelley is a member of the Scleral Lens Society, American Optometric Association, and Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
