Daniel Taylor, O.D.

Daniel A. Taylor received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in May of 2006. In May of 2008, he received a Master of Science degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee, in the Integrated Program in Biomedical Sciences, with a concentration in Cancer and Cell Development Biology. He completed a residency in Primary Care Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in June of that same year. He has been working at Southern College of Optometry since July of 2008 and is currently an Assistant Professor. In 2016, he earned his Doctor of Education degree from the University of Memphis.

Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, the West Tennessee Optometric Physicians Society, a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Taylor is interested in didactic, laboratory, and clinical education of optometry students, and the treatment of primary eyecare patients.
